A bit about me

Hey, I'm Ross!

Wedding videographer, lover of the little moments, and proud owner of a wee Pomeranian called Chico!

I'm Ross, a wedding videographer based in Scotland, filming weddings across Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond.

I didn't get into filmmaking because I love cameras.

I got into it because I love moments. The big ones, the wee ones, the emotional ones and the absolutely hilarious ones that nobody saw coming.

The nervous excitement before the ceremony, the proud look on your parents' faces, the speeches that have everyone in stitches and, of course, those questionable dance moves later in the evening!

For me, that's what makes a wedding special. Real people, real emotions and memories you'll want to relive for years to come.

No awkward posing. No pressure. Just a good laugh and a brilliant day!

Now, I know not everyone loves being in front of a camera. In fact, most couples tell me they're a wee bit nervous about it.

And that's absolutely fine!

My job isn't to turn your wedding into a film set or have you pretending to laugh at something that isn't funny.

I'm there to capture your day as it naturally happens, blending in with your guests, having a laugh along the way and making sure you feel completely comfortable.

I'll offer a wee bit of guidance when you need it, but otherwise I'll let you get on with the important stuff — enjoying your wedding!

And don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to repeat your first kiss because I missed the shot!

A wee bit about me away from weddings...

When I'm not behind the camera or tucked away editing wedding films, life is pretty busy at home with my wife, our gorgeous wee boy Jacob-Grey, who's just six months old, and our fluffy wee Pomeranian, Chico!

Between baby giggles, sleepless nights and Chico still thinking he's the boss of the house, there's certainly never a dull moment!

Becoming a dad has made me appreciate those little moments in life even more. It's amazing how quickly time flies, and how the things that might seem ordinary today can become the memories you treasure most.

And I suppose that's a big part of why I love filming weddings. Being able to capture those moments, the laughter, the happy tears and all the people who mean the world to you, is something pretty special.

Because at the end of the day, it's the people and the memories that matter most.

More than just a wedding video

One of my favourite things about wedding films is that they become more special as the years go by.

It's not just about remembering how everything looked. It's hearing the voices, the laughter, the speeches and seeing all those little moments you might have missed on the day.

I want you to watch your film in ten, twenty or even thirty years and feel like you're right back there, surrounded by all your favourite people.

That's the bit I love most about what I do.

Are we a good fit?

If you're looking for someone who's relaxed, easy to get along with, happy to have a laugh and genuinely cares about capturing your wedding properly, then I reckon we'll get along just fine!

You don't need to be naturals in front of the camera. You don't need everything to go perfectly to plan. And you definitely don't need to worry about me turning your day into a Hollywood production.

Just turn up, enjoy yourselves, have the best day ever and leave the filming to me.

You make the memories. I'll make sure you can relive them.
